He's taking over. Austin, Texas hometown hero Paul Qui is leaving other, lesser, chefs in the dust as he prepares to conquer New York city culinary salon; City Grit.

He will be breathing in some rarefied air. Other chefs cooking in the same venue are TIEN HO, CHRIS JAECKLE, APRIL BLOOMFIELD & BILL TELEPAN, and MARC VETRI AND MARK LADNER

Look for the 70 seat venue to be packed to the rafters when Qui takes center stage.
