We enjoyed our visit to Gourmand's Neighborhood Pub. There was room for improvement as we noted in our full review here [http://www.scrumptiouschef.com/food/index.cfm/2012/3/23] but after a week of reflection we're now shoring up plans for a repeat visit.

East Austin is on fire right now with talk of Paul Qui opening a brick and mortar over this way, Pachamama's Peruvian Creole Cuisine putting out a mind alteringly delicious meal for us a couple nights ago [http://www.scrumptiouschef.com/food/index.cfm/2012/3/29 ] and Raymond Tatum continuing to somehow do fine dining from a tiny food trailer in the parking lot of East End Wines [http://www.scrumptiouschef.com/food/index.cfm/2010/10/1].

We're not going to know how to act if the plenitude continues to grow at this pace.
