We knew the day would come. We've toiled quietly for years, just keeping pen to paper, practicing our craft and waiting. Well, the wait is over.

Scrumptiouschef has hit the big time.

We recently sat down for a couple hours with Kerry Bexley, owner and assistant pit boss of Snow's Barbecue out in Lexington Texas. Mr. Bexley proved to be an interesting barbecue man and he extended us a pretty compelling offer.

RL Reeves Jr will be traveling to Lexington soon to accompany this man as he works his way through a busy shift at Snow's Barbecue.

We couldn't be more excited. We'll be there when the fire is built, when the meat is seasoned, the briskets are loaded and every moment of the time they spend on the smokers.

We'll stay through service and not leave til the key is turned in the lock and it's time to go.
