Our Basque gastronomic society continues apace. We had our third Txoko last night and it was a blast. Here we have the beginnings of plating by one of the chefs at the new W downtown.
His contribution was Barbacoa Empanadas with Black Garlic Mole and Escabeche.
I knocked out a Vietnamese Chicken Fried Meatloaf Banh Mi and there were several other offerings as well.

It's our gastronomic society. A group of men who gather together with a bunch of groceries and wine and cook and socialize together.
No women.
No politics.
No religion.
Everything else is fair game.
We've done 3 so far and are looking forward to doing many more.
