On this day in 1979 Louisiana said goodbye to Will Balfa and Rodney Balfa of Balfa Brothers fame. They were killed in a car crash in Avoyelles Parish. Rodney was only 44; Will was 58. We’re spending the afternoon listening to old Balfa Brothers records in memoriam of this legendary Cajun family.
