Here in New Orleans 9th Ward you can pick up a plump packet of chicken leg quarters for under $5 and have a fridge full of protein for a week. Are you working on your Cajun cooking game? Here’s a seasoning rub that’ll have your friends calling you T-Boy in no time flat.
RL Reeves Jr’s Cajun Rub
1 T. Paprika
1 T. Black Pepper
1 T. White Pepper
1 T. Garlic Powder
1 T. Onion Powder
1 t. Cayenne
2 T. Corn Starch [prevents clumping]
* Combine all ingredients thoroughly and store in Tupperware
