Diny Schouten working at De Pasteibakkerij in Amsterdam

While Time Magazine’s bacon critic experiment was crashing and burning we were riding a jet airplane to Amsterdam to track down the best bacon producer in the Netherlands.

Diny Schouten and Floris Brester work out of a tiny charcuterie kitchen in Amsterdam Zuid. It’s called De Pasteibakkerij.

We sent lead scribe RL Reeves Jr across the pond last Spring and he filed this report.
