NOLA Dolls On The Precipice Of The Big Time

NOLA Dolls On The Precipice Of The Big Time

We had the time of our lives out in LaPlace last Fall at their big Andouille festival. The fete was established all the way back in 1972 when New Deal Democrat Edwin Edwards began serving the first of what would be four terms in the governor’s mansion.

This year’s edition runs from Friday-Sunday Oct 14-16 at Thomas F. Daley Memorial Park (2900 U.S. 51, LaPlace, LA 70068)

Partyers will have a vast range of foods to choose from including: andouille jambalaya, crawfish monica, crawfish-andouille egg rolls, fried alligator, fried meat pies, fried andouille chips, andouille corndogs, cracklins, and boudin balls.

Last year we got blown out by NOLA Dolls, a local dance troupe that is destined for big things.

Our report from last year’s party

admission is $5
