Field Report: 2016 Ladies And Men of Unity Second Line Parade
What a great day to be alive in New Orleans. We parked the old Econoline up near Claiborne Avenue and got on the hot foot down into Central City to Sportsmen’s Corner where the 2016 Ladies & Men of Unity Second Line Parade was set to blow up. Here’s what we saw:
A man dances atop the graves at Lafayette Cemetery number 2.
The happiest woman in New Orleans.
Hot trombone turned loose in Central City, New Orleans.
Big man with a big sound.
Quantifiably cool.
Born stylish.
Dapper young gent.
This cat was chopping heads off with his sax.
Getting hot and sweaty on the second line.
