We were hanging out at the Scrumptious house when we heard a brass band marching down St. Claude Avenue.
Time to dance.
We immediately raced two blocks up the street to see what the ruckus was, and were rewarded with a great view of CTC Steppers storming towards the railroad tracks.
As is custom, there were numerous mobile drink vendors selling High Life and mixing cocktails for the crowd of hard-partyers that were second-lining.
Like the gentleman pictured.
In most towns anybody selling alcohol on the streets to passersby would go straight to jail, but not in New Orleans. Our puritan city council will certainly be addressing this shortly.
