We love this disclaimer on the Great American Beer Fest website wherein all the 2013 winners are listed. Breeding confidence in this age of ennui and uncertainty. This past weekend’s monster beer party saw Texas brewers stride across the main stage to collect a goodly amount of well-earned hardware. Ten medals came home to roost in the Great State-certainly a big difference from 1987, the first year Texas collected awards (Lone Star-American Light Lager! and Pete’s Wicked Ale.) in USA’s biggest beer competition

This year we kept up with the shenanigans via the twitter account of https://twitter.com/anavenueblog Austin’s top beer scribe and https://twitter.com/AustinBeerGuide who put out a beer-oriented, luddite style, print magazine.

Trapped in Austin and living vicariously through others.

As usual.

Congratulations to all the winners. Texas forever y’all.
