When you write a few hundred articles per year there are bound to be some that are met with shrugs, sighs and disinterest.
It’s the nature of the beast.
Not every article is solid gold, no matter how wonderful we thought it was, sometimes y’all could not care less.
It hurts. Every post is like a little baby that you’ve nurtured and sent toddling forth into the world so when people look at it and remark on how homely it is, and how they just want to wring its little neck-well, that hurts.
