Week 3. This feature has some serious legs. Thanks for embracing it as we spend a lot of time checking out other food bloggers in Austin and there’s some damn good ones out there right now. Yes you have to sift through a lot of bullshit lol cats and other horrors that pollute the web but we’re in it for the long haul. Sort of like Papillon. Y’all may remember Katie Lewis, a young blogger who made the grave mistake {http://www.scrumptiouschef.com/food/2011/10/23/Scandal-On-Austin-Chowhound-New-Poster-Mugged-In-Back-Alley-By-Moderator?adminview=true} of trying to contribute to the Austin Chowhound board. Their moderators dragged her out back and put the boots to her when they realized they had an enthusiastic food writer trying to add her voice to the milieu over that way. She also has a very fine food blog of her own called Slow Down Savor. Katie went old school chowhound style and drove to Martindale to review Culinary Criminals, a rural farm to trailer food truck. Check out her piece http://www.slowdownsavor.com/2012/11/i-ate-felony-i-ate-it-right-up.html

Peer inside the life of a farmer via Angel Valley Farms blog. Anyone who’s ever done any time on a farm knows it’s hot, hard, dangerous work. It’s curious that it’s now being romanticized so heavily by newspapers and magazines. A nice piece on Fall harvest right this way http://angelvalleyfarm.wordpress.com/2012/11/05/the-moment-of-truth/

Apron adventures hits the kitchen like a Mack Truck and bangs out Paul Qui’s brussels sprouts with homemade fish sauce. We could live on this dish http://www.apronadventures.blogspot.com/2012/11/paul-qui-brussels-sprouts-at-last.html

Mike Sutter, former Statesman scribe and the hardest writing retiree living in Austin, is in the middle of an epic 55 joint long rundown on what he reckons are the best restaurants in town. We slobber like hound dogs over Tam Deli-he does too. http://www.fedmanwalking.com/content/fed-man-55-tam-deli-cafe-24

Dr. Jennie Chen at the Miso Hungry blog has put together a list of ethnic eats she’s enjoying around Austin titled: Austin Ethnic Food Round Up – The Secret List . Good work here, we’re really curious about Texas Bakery http://misohungrynow.blogspot.com/2012/11/austin-ethnic-food-round-up-secret-list.html

We’re having our 5th pop up restaurant event this Sunday Nov 11 at 3 Little Pigs Food Trailer. Y’all come http://www.facebook.com/events/437423172987234/

hashtag is #terlinguapopup
