We were starving and decided to give Dirty Bird’s Barbecue, the new food trailer, ostensibly selling barbecue in East Austin, another chance at feeding us.

Surprise!

Not open. But El Pollo Rey was up and running so we contented ourselves with some delicious chicken tacos from the new kid in the Austin pollo carbon playpen.

Full review of that meal pending but we noticed Pachamama’s Peruvian Creole Cuisine parked right across the way and in the same trailer court “East Side Food Park”.

Austin must have a love of Peruvian food as y’all went wild when we wrote about Budare’s, the new food trailer in the Rainey Street neighborhood.

Now East Austin has a brand new Peruvian food source and they’re serving beef heart skewers! Lots of other good sounding dishes too but BEEF HEART SKEWERS!

Hell yeah. We can’t wait to get back to Pachamama’s Peruvian Creole Cuisine and sample their food.
