Motored up to Dahlia Cafe in Liberty Hill to try some of their “dressed up” country food. Specifically the chicken fried steak. Nice work from these folks. The cfs was hand breaded and not charred to ruin like is common in these parts. Side dishes were above average with an interesting take on mac and cheese [penne instead of macaroni] and green beans that had never seen the inside of a can.
Polished off a slab of chocolate pie for dessert then retired to the big courtyard for a light snooze on the children’s slide.
