The Salvadorans over at El Zunzal on Calle Street are perfectly happy to put a feast in front of you for four bucks. Pupusa con queso, guacamole, curtido and chips and salsa.

They also offer enormous carafes of delicious soups, good carne molida, quart bottles of regia, strolling mariachis and a handful of good desserts all made in house.

We’ve been eating here for years and have reported many times from this humble little house cum Salvadoran restaurant.
