Scanning the condiment section of a local burger house we saw the typical rows of squeeze bottles filled with red corn syrup that just about every place in town offers.

We’ve long wondered what to do with the weird, treacly sweet stuff as it’s clearly not an edible food substance.

Then we noticed someone had thoughtfully placed a sticker on the bottle with instructions on what this effluent is for.

Now we know.
