Another instance of a perfectly good Mexican restaurant just getting lost in the shuffle. If these guys opened up in Omaha they’d be at the top of the pecking order. In Austin, they’re just another joint. However, you can eat very well here. We like to get a pair of carnitas tacos,a cup of pinto beans and an order of queso.
This feast won’t break the bank and it’s respectable, quality-wise.
Ask for the special hot sauce as it has genuine heat and is an off-menu nod to the chile heads that are in the know.
