When a barbecue house offers a vast array of side dishes I immediately lose interest. I love macaroni and cheese and don’t doubt that Mann’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que puts out a good version-I just don’t want to have anything to do with it when I’m at barbecue. Pickles and onions, a few saltines and a glass of tea, maybe a hunk of Longhorn cheddar if I’m feeling sporty.
Once you start trotting out the blackeyed peas, fried green tomatoes, baked potatoes, tossed salad and turnip greens you’ve totally lost me.
How can you focus on the meat when you’re all over the place with crazy side items?
I reckon Mann’s is really more of a cafeteria style meat and 3 that also happens to serve smoked meat.
