Mr. Stockton has proven to have the Midas touch with East Austin bars.

The old days of Bates Motel are growing fainter by the minute as this liquor baron grows his empire piece by piece. Haven’t heard too much about the new place as it’s only been open for about 15 minutes.

It all comes down to this: Who’s the pit boss? How are they sourcing their beef? Will there be a wall of Live Oak taps given the name of the restaurant?

Lots of questions are swirling around the former Last Chance Saloon.
