Jane and Michael Stern have been putting out Roadfood books since 1978. This was well before Al Gore invented the internet and eons before food obsession became the pet rock of the modern era. The new one has a great title:

I’ll be curious to see if they make it available for those Dick Tracy style telephones everybody seems to be toting around these days.

I reckon they’ll have it out there for the Kindle crowd too.


I can’t wait to lay back on my couch, turn on some WWOZ and have a good leisurely romp through this new American food guide.
