If top notch barbecue started and ended with ambiance then Iron Works would be the top pit in town. Everything related to atmosphere is pitch perfect: ancient building, heaving, wooden flooring, gorgeous sun room, all manners of old school bric a brack adorning the walls.

But the part where the rubber meets the road; the food, is sorely lacking.

They may have righted the ship as I’ve not eaten there in years and would love to hear from a recent diner.

How’s the brisket these days at Iron Works Barbecue?
