With an absolute dearth of high quality Southern food restaurants in Austin the opening of The Dogwood has been a godsend.
I’ve been marching through the menu for the last month or so and have been consistently blown away by the Alabama comes to Austin menu.

I don’t mix my sweet and savory instead eating the fried chicken as my main then tearing into the waffle like a starving hound that’s been proffered a dessert.
