After a mammoth crawfish boil that saw myself and the crowd march through a keg of Live Oak Pilz and numerous handles of rum, gin, vodka and whisky, a morning pick me up was clearly in order.

Little City to the rescue. While Austin’s race to urbanity continues apace it hasn’t been that long since this old town was a different beast altogether.

There was a time when sitting on the sidewalk outside Little City was one of the few ways to feel like you lived in an actual urban setting.

A Sunday morning visit to downtown’s finest coffee house is an underrated way to appreciate Austin. Here’s a snapshot of Bethel, one of the top baristas in Austin.
