In New Orleans after the kids are put to bed the grown ups have a fais do do. Which is exactly how Fat Tuesday shook out for us last night in East Austin.

We boiled up 80 quarts of shrimp, potatoes, onions, garlic and corn on the cob after an appetizer of 12 quarts of red beans and rice.

Washed the proceedings down with lots of Abita and Rebel Yell.
