The granddaddy of all food blogs with 1000’s of members covering hundreds of countries, states, provinces and counties.

I bought the first print edition of Roadfood at a bookstore in Lexington Kentucky when I was still a tike.

It’s almost falling apart now and Jane and Michael Stern have since turned their hobby of eating well and obscurely into a profitable enterprise.

In a couple years when all the current folks who’ve hopped on the food bandwagon are onto the next new thing something tells me the Sterns will be turning down a muddy road in rural West Virginia looking for a country quick mart that has a certain chili sauce recipe that only a dozen or so people know about.
